TEG Dehydration
Service & Operations
Pristine Alliance provides comprehensive TEG dehydration services across Texas and New Mexico oil and gas plays, including full operations support, scheduled maintenance, TEG regeneration (distillation), and acidizing for your existing dehydration units.
Distillation: TEG Regeneration
Pristine Alliance's patented vacuum distillation process regenerates contaminated tri-ethylene glycol (TEG) back to 97–99% purity, at approximately 50% the cost of replacing with new glycol. The process reduces waste disposal by up to 97% and can be performed with zero production downtime, keeping your dehydration units running clean and in spec.
- Restores TEG to 97–99% purity
- ~50% cost savings vs. new glycol
- Up to 97% reduction in waste disposal
- Zero production downtime
- Patented vacuum distillation technology
- On-site regeneration, no equipment change-out
Acidizing
Pristine Alliance's acidizing service performs a full chemical cleanout of glycol dehydration systems, circulating a cleaning agent through the contactor, reboiler, and all interconnected piping to dissolve sludge, coke deposits, and hydrocarbon contamination that degrade TEG absorption capacity. The process can be performed while the unit remains in operation, with no gas sales interruption.
- Chemical circulation cleanout of full TEG system
- Removes sludge, coke buildup & hydrocarbon contamination
- Restores contactor and reboiler efficiency
- Improves TEG absorption capacity and glycol purity
- Performed without shutting in gas sales
- Pre- and post-treatment glycol sampling & analysis
Maintenance
Scheduled inspection and service of all glycol dehydration unit components, keeping your system operating within spec and preventing the unplanned downtime and glycol losses that follow neglected maintenance.
- Contactor tower internals: bubble cap trays & structured packing inspection
- Reboiler burner tuning, firebox inspection & firetube assessment
- Glycol pump service, seal inspection & replacement
- Flash tank, surge tank & heat exchanger inspection
- Filter changeout: solids & carbon filters every 1–3 months
- Monthly glycol sampling for water content, clarity & hydrocarbon contamination
